I have been had several pop up advertisement while using Brave, and I not able to turn it off.

Where they come from?

@Pichuqy First off, just want to let you know I’m moving your topic. You posted on Brave-Ads Support which is referencing ads for Brave Rewards. However, you’re speaking more to possible adblocking, which would be Ad-Blocking

My guess based on your screenshot is it is a virus, malware/adware, or an extension you have installed. If I’m right, then those notifications/advertisements you’re seeing are happening no matter which website you’re visiting. But I might be wrong.

What I will say is the information you provided isn’t enough for anyone to be able to help you. In order to better help you’d have to advise of things like:

  • Does this happen on any particular site? If so, what’s the link?

  • What Shields settings are you using?

  • What version of Brave are you using?

Hello Saoiray. I am using Ubuntu 22.04.2, LTS Release: 22.04, Codename: jammy

  • Does this happen on any particular site? If so, what’s the link? No, It doesn’t. Just appear while I am visiting different websites.

  • What Shields settings are you using? I have just checked it and turned it on all of it.

  • What version of Brave are you using? Versión 1.50.125 Chromium: 112.0.5615.165 (Build oficial) (64 bits).
