Passkeys not working in Mac Desktop version

  • RUnning the latest version of Brave, Version 1.65.132 Chromium: 124.0.6367.202 (Official Build) (arm64)
  • MacOS 14.4.1

I’m trying to start using passkeys but they are not working in Brave. I started with icloud.com and was able to get it to work fine with Safari. In Brave, it does not ask for TouchID, simple offers a QR code which is not what I want to be using.

I have confirmed that Brave has Bluetooth access and Passkeys are enabled in Brave settings.

Am I missing something or do passkeys not work in Brave?
