New Update broke Bitwarden Passkeys

Signing in with Passkeys from Bitwarden no longer works after update.
I have Brave with the Bitwarden extension on two Macs. It works perfectly with the one I have not updated yet, the one I updated no longer works. Instead, it defaults to
‘use a saved passkey with icloud keychain’
‘use a phone or tablet’
‘USB security key’.

I have set Bitwarden to be the default PW manager and have turned off Bitwarden password manager.

  1. Install bitwarden browser extension,
  2. Use passkeys to login to a website
  3. Fail.
  4. Try the same with Brave before the update
  5. Succeed.
