Out of HTML5 offline storage space error when using mega.nz

Description of the issue:
When downloading files from mega.nz, I’m almost always getting this error msg “Out of HTML5 Offline Storage space,” but when I try to download the same file in Chrome, it works fine. This happens even if I clear my cache. In addition to clearing my cache in settings, are there any other measures I can take to clean my HTML5 storage?

Try downloading a file that’s more than 1G in size from mega.nz

Sorry for the late reply.
When you first attempted to download the file, were you prompted to “Allow” mega.nz to store files on your device?

Yes, I got the prompt, clicked Yes, and then a few seconds later I would get the HTML5 storage error.

Apologies for the late reply. Going to be digging into this tonight/this weekend and will hopefully have more info for you soon.

Have you tried to download the file with Shields down?
If not, try testing this way. If you don’t receive the error, it maybe an issue with Brave blocking Device Recognition on the site – In which case, you would simply need to set the Device Recognition setting in the Shields panel on Mega.nz to Allow all Device Recognition.
