I refuse to install software that connects to the internet any time it frikkin pleases because its devs think they know better what I need to do on my own system. I understand you think most users are stupid and you’re probably right, but are stupid users your only target audience? I don’t care if you refuse operation before the browser is properly updated but there needs to be at least the option in the product to only update and access the net when the users decides to actually run your software.
Auto-updates that cant be easily disabled are a DYSTOPIAN NIGHTMARE out of Orwells’ 1984.
