I downloaded brave in October and since then have never received ads through push notifications at all. I have no idea why I have checked everything along with my brave rewards and it says I have viewed 0 ads in the last 30 days, my log is empty too.
I don’t know if this will help you, but the first time that i start to use BRAVE didn’t check my notifications on windows 10, then i change notifications of the browser on and i start to get ads. hope this will hepl you.

First check if your device is set to accept notifications at https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html
If it fails, open Windows Settings, search for notifications and actions settings, then set notification to ON and Focus assist to OFF.
