No ads (or rewards) even though ads/rewards are enabled

I am not receiving any ads (and therefore no BAT rewards) even though rewards and ads are enabled. It has been this way since I first downloaded Brave a few weeks ago. Updating Brave did not solve the issue. Any assistance or insight is much appreciated. Thank you.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Not sure. All I did was download Brave, enable rewards, and start browsing.

Expected result: No ads, no rewards.

Brave Version 1.5.115

This issue only seems to be present on the desktop browser (I am using Windows 10). The Brave browser for iOS does not have this same issue.

Hello @captraygun. If the link given by @eljuno doesn’t help see if Brave notifications are “on” on windows. See the screenshot:
