My spellcheck has stopped functioning

  1. Around 1 week ago my spellcheck stopped functioning. Ive gone into the settings and verified that it is still turned on. I saw that others have had issues with the spellchecker and one of the suggestions was to create a new brave profile to see if that solves the issue. Creating a new profile does seem to solve the issue. None of the postings I’ve found have actually written out what this means though or how I should progress.
  2. IDK how to reproduce this issue.
