My brave wallet has been giving Error -32602 ever since someone with a updated metamask sent me eth

Ever since I got sent eth from someone using EIP-155 type tx’s. this error has now appeared on every dapp I use.

Swap failed: Unknown error: “Error: [ethjs-query] while formatting outputs from RPC ‘{“value”:{“code”:-32602,“message”:“transaction could not be decoded: unsigned transactions not supported”}}’”.
