My brave ads are broken

I recently switched to Brave Browser and amazed with its performance than I came to know about Brave rewards , I started using it and turned brave ads on and set settings to 5 ads/hour, as mentioned in your support site ,its a ceiling not floor , so I was okay with it, but then I found out that brave gives me ads relevant to my browsing style but the ads I am getting are crypto related which I really don’t browse so how that ads are matching with my browsing style?

Why I get 3-4 ads per hour but after some time I dont get ads for hours ? What is ad catalog and how I can check one ( there are too many v1 v2 v3 v4…).? On what basis brave decide when to give ads , are they random ? If brave ensures that ads will be relevant to you so why no ads of my relevance, I am using latest version of Brave and live in India and I will permanently switch to brave if I get to know answers of above questions .

THANK YOU

So with ads, it’s luck of the draw… There will be times you won’t see any ads… They depend on region, who has ad campaigns going on, limit of seeing the same ad(s), daily limit of ads seen in a day, etc. When you set up ads, something like 5 ads per hour doesn’t mean you will see 5 ads per hour all day guaranteed, but you may see ads and if you do, you will only see up to 5 ads in any given hour… Ads seen on one computer is not guaranteed to be the same ads or amount of ads on another computer on your network…

So does that means yesterday my luck was good but Today my luck is very bad? Can you please tell me where I can see the max limit to see same ad and where I can keep track of online campaigns, btw I live in India.

Sorry for doubling my queries and thanks for reply

Yes

Can you please tell me where I can see the max limit to see same ad and where I can keep track of online campaigns

Sort of… but know that just because there’s campaigns doesn’t mean you will see ads in that campaign…

https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/

Sorry for disturbing again, but can clear me what actually are campaigns, I thought they were nothing but just the advertisers but opening the link you have given I saw some random url like stuff, advertisers, campaigns, some what percentages

What does all this mean , what does the percentage show, what are campaigns and how they are different from advertisers

don’t know… your display maybe different than mine because it show region determined by your browser… But for me, each box is a campaign that shows what region(s) it’s running in. The percentage is just a timeline of campaign start and campaign end… advertisers is the entity running the campaign… they may run multiple campaigns…

The majority of advertisers are crypto-services, so we all get those ads even if we don’t visit websites about cryptocurrencies.

@AyanB214,
Some of these questions are answered in my reply in the other thread here:

An Ad Campaign is a set of advertisements all focused on one subject or message. You can think of it as a container of all ads from a specific company or brand. An ad is simply the advertisement itself.

You can track the ads you’ve seen by going to Settings --> Brave Rewards --> Ads --> 7-day ad history. You can also up/downvote them which will help train the browser on what you want (or don’t want) to see advertised.

Regarding:

It’s also worth noting that there is a max number of ads (a cap) one can see each day, which I believe is currently 40. So there may also be times where you see tons of ads in the beginning of the day, hit your cap mid day, and then don’t see any others for the rest of the night.

Now this cleared all doubts so all I have to do is switch to brave , use it as normal not for the rewards and with time rewards will automatically collect on their own, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME, YOU REALLY HELPED A LOT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH
