Description of the issue:
Opening new tabs by clicking on bookmarks with the Mouse-Wheel seemed to work only for some of my bookmarks. I found out that it is connected with the size of the bookmark folder. As soon as the folder gets large enough to have a vertical scroll bar, the Mouse-Wheel click now changes the mouse into the “scroll up/down” functionality. Other shortcuts like Ctrl+Click still work well.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Create a bookmark folder in your bookmark sidebar in Brave.
- Fill it with a couple of bookmarks and try the Mouse-Wheel click to open one of them in a new tab. This should work.
- Now add enough bookmarks to this folder so that it gets a vertical scroll bar (for me that was with 19 bookmarks) and try the Mouse-Wheel click to open one of them in a new tab. This should not work anymore.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
On Mouse-Wheel Click the mouse turns into the scroll up/down functionality.
Expected result:
On Mouse-Wheel Click new tabs should be opened regardles if there is a vertical scroll bar or not.
Reproduces how often:
always
