The current sidebar is quite useless, Edge has a really useful sidebar that Brave can learn a lot from, side-by-side apps and messenger integrations are just a few things. Leo works great but it is currently the only reason to have the sidebar active. On a side note, Leo could use a button on the top bar (near the extensions and hamburger menu) for people who don’t like the sidebar but would like to use Leo more frequently.
I don’t really understand the use case of that sidebar if there’s no option to add web apps like in edge, vivaldi.

I agree. sidebar is very useless, it acts just like another “bookmark” section. The sites should open up in a split screen view, or a popup (that doesn’t change the dimension of the current tab), basically it should be exactly like how edge operates since that is the best at this right now.
