Description of the issue: Links in emails containing “#” sign are not being parsed correctly
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open an email with an URL containing the “#” sign. Example: https://www.example.com/testsite#55844
- Open the email in (supposedly) any email app (not in a web browser though)
- Click the link
Expected result: Link should open in Brave and the complete URL gets parsed
Actual results: Link gets opened and the part following the “#” sign gets omitted
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.17
Mobile Device details iPad Pro running iOS 13.6
Additional Information: I tested it using the Fastmail app (fastmail.com). However this issue only happens when using Brave to open the link our of the email app. If Safari is used the URL gets parsed correctly. So the problem seems to be Brave related and not related to the email app.
