Description of the issue: I have a NAS drive connected to my router, which acts as a Local server to store and access files, but also allows me to run Plex. Before I launch Brave I can access my drive without issue, but as soon as I launch Brave it blocks access until I restart Windows (10). I’m guessing that Brave is blocking access to the Localhost, and I’m all for increased security, how would I allow access to my localhost without disabling the added security.

I also use NordVPN and Avast, but everything has worked fine before I moved over to Brave after dropping Chrome.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Don’t Launch Brave, can access local network
  2. Launch Brave local network is blocked until reset.

Expected result: Allow access to local network when Brave is running

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.76.74 Chromium: 134.0.6998.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Windows 10 / NordVPN / Avast (all up-to-date)

To note, I can login to the NAS drive (admin section) via the browser, but in Windows itself I cannot access my mapped network drives, this prevents me from accessing or uploading files through Windows itself.
