Hi, I have the same problem with the same Brave version. I’ve tried the same fixes as you and they didn’t work. Have you found a solution?

I think I found the solution. Go to chrome://flags/#brave-news and set it to default (if is not). Relaunch the browser and that’s it.

Your solution most likely would have worked for me because I had changed the news setting to no news due to it causing a crash in a previous version.
Didn’t think of trying to reset it to the default.
Instead I reinstalled brave, keeping all my settings, that did not solve the problem.
Then reinstall from scratch losing all my bookmarks etc in the process.
That at least fixed the problem.

That fixed it. Thanks.

I had news turned off, but I don’t mind leaving it on in the meantime.
