Is Brave accepting payments from Google and others to allow ads and not block them?

*Is it true that Google is paying Brave to allow ads, not block them, for the settings to not work. I am having a similar issue, in that Brave will not let me block youtube autoplay. Is brave accepting payments from media to lower the security level for the most atrocious violator of privacy like Google??? Say it is not so.

Description of the issue:

Exact URL of the website in question:

Screenshot of the ad as it appears in Brave
Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?

Brave version (check About Brave):

No, it’s not. Brave Shields should block Google Ads (and other ads) when appears as 3rd party. https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001053072-Shields

But Google Ads indeed not blocked on google.com because it’s 1st party ads. https://brave.com/faq/#search-engines

Can you elaborate more about your issue? And/or the source of your claim?

Thanks
