The documentation regarding adding a custom RSS feed (which only shows up in the ‘news’ section when opening a new tab!) is incomplete/incorrect/lacking useful information/useless.
Firefox had RSS bookmarks and on moving over to Brave, I find that these RSS feeds no longer update.
When I searched for the equivalent functionality in Brave, I found that it had only just been added (), the instructions are wrong/incomplete and it’s only on the new tab page.
- There is a bug with the documentation and the interface, as neither show how to add the RSS feed.
** In the browser Settings, the Brave News feature has a new “Your Sources” section (No it doesn’t! There is no ‘Brave News’ section in ‘Settings’!).*
** Simply tap “Add Source” and then search by website domain name or manually add the full URL of your favorite feed if you know it (No. There is no ‘Add Source’ button, either!).*
** After adding your feed, Brave News will then fetch content from your sources and include it in your Brave News feed.*
^ This is all I see O.O

Please add active/RSS bookmarks so that we don’t have to open a new tab just to get to the RSS feeds. I get the distinct impression that this has not been thought through properly

Why are custom RSS settings NOT In the ‘Settings’ pages? O_o
-
I can’t take a screenshot with the browser screenshot function whilst navigating ‘Settings’ or ‘New Tab’ pages lol Needlessly making it harder to share screenshots of Brave’s settings interface… O_o
[Also, there is no category or tag are available for RSS or NEWS, so… ]
