Description of the issue:
I want to “pin” a particular website preferably to my tablet’s home screen or at least make it one of the “top sites” shown on a new tab page. This website also has an app so, instead of the “add to homescreen” option available on other websites, my only option is to install the app. I don’t want to use the app because the desktop version of the website has more capability. I also apparently have no avenue to customize the “top sites” on a new tab page. Also, I have no idea how Brave decides which of the sites I visit constitute a “top site” because there doesn’t seem to be any logic whatsoever in the method those sites are chosen for me.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Try to pin a website when there’s an available app.
- Try to customize websites on the new tab page.
Expected result:
Have the option to either pin the website directly to the home screen or at least allow me to customize the new tab screen to show it.
