Briefly describe your issue:
I haven’t received Brave Ad notifications in about a year despite having my ad settings set to 5/hour and living in a supported region

Not sure, at or before January 2021
Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
Yes
Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)
I wasn’t at first, but I eventually did. I didn’t realize it might affect the Brave Ads
Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?
Yes
Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?

Your account may have been flagged especially if while using the VPN your device and VPN locations didn’t match. You should send a direct message to the moderators and include the following information for each of your devices:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals )
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version )
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in `Settings → Brave Rewards

Mattches and Steeven are the moderators who handle most of the rewards issues.

How to DM a moderator:

  1. Click on their icon and select the Message button in the top right corner or
  2. You can go to your profile and create a new message in Messages.
