Description of the issue: I wanted to download a file and Brave crashes everytime I press to download and it happens with any file i try to download
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): Brave crashes
Expected result:
Reproduces how often: Everytime I download something
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Windows, Brave 1.70.117
Additional Information:
Not using any anti-virus software? Possibly another application is trying to intercept the download for scanning.
i dont use an anti virus when doawnloading, it is stopped rn
Any extensions installed?
just some extensions like honey, something for spotify and youtube
does it help if testing in private window mode? (with no extensions)
in private window works, but when i try it in normal window it doesnt
okay, either an extension. Or an application is causing it. Try disabling the extensions first and retest in normal window mode
If its an application, (often antivirus/malware) will scan incoming downloads, look through the installed apps.

i am getting the same problem but in my case its also for downloading any attachments in gmail for some reason
