How to create site exceptions to "delete all browsing data on exit"

Related post but with no comments: Add the ability to create exceptions to the clear data on exit option

I delete all browsing data on exit. How do I create a site exception to this, so all except that one site gets its data cleared on exit?

At the moment I have been using the profile feature to create profiles for specific sites (eg. Discord) so that I stay logged in. Is this the only workaround?

Presently, a separate Brave Browser Profile, for websites where, you want to preserve cookies (and browsing / site data, perhaps also including: not being logged out), will be more efficient. Stick with it.

Trying to include the function that you wish - in a single Brave Browser Profile - became a problem. The function (or similar feature / function) did exist in older versions of Brave Browser.

Brave developers are working on a problem:

Brave Browser users wish to NOT be logged out, after:

  • restarting Brave Browser
  • a crash of Brave Browser
  • restarting the computing device
  • an update of Brave Browser
  • an update of a Brave Browser component
  • an update of Windows OS

The, or a, fix for that, might include some feature / function along the lines of what you seek.
