How to change new tab

Ok I have set my start page to lets say Google search engine, and I have set the home button on and set it to the same google search page. But how do I change the the new tab “+” button to go to https://google.com instead of going to brave://newtab. I can’t seem to find that in the settings.

Unfortunately that is not an available feature. However you can try adding an extension to achieve that functionality.
