I do not believe there is any way to disable the icon from appearing in the address bar when you visit applicable sites.

Thank you. So far I haven’t found any way to disable the icon from appearing in the address bar. I will continue searching and doing my research to find a way to do that. I will keep you informed if I find a solution.

Hi. The only way I found so far to block PWA install button on url bar is using Reject Service Worker extension.
