How content creators get rewarded in Brave?

Are content creators and publishers only get paid/rewarded through users’ goodwill and charity of the “auto-contribute” feature and the “tipping feature”? Are there any updates on the publisher’s ads? I couldn’t find any information on that…

Also Brave receives 30% from the user ads does any of that go to the publishers?

If so how will creators and publishers survive with Brave?
