How can I export bookmarks from an external Mac hard drive to Windows?

Description of the issue:
My iMac desktop’s motherboard died so that computer is no longer functional. We took out the hard drive with all my data on it and I’m slowly finding bits and pieces of data from programs to import onto my new Windows computer. However, I can’t find where my Brave bookmarks are to import them.

Where can I find the Brave bookmarks in my external Mac hard drive and how can I import them into Brave in my new Windows computer?

How can this issue be reproduced?

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):
version 1.30.89 (other computer may have had the previous version but I’m not sure)

Additional Information:
I’m using a program to be able to see the Mac hard drive on Windows, so I can see all the files. I just don’t know where to look for this.

@BeYourself

In your external Mac hard drive go to:

~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default copy Bookmarks file and replace the file with the same name in your new machine

or

edit it and copy the Bookmarks file content to the new one.

I finally found it and replaced the file, as you indicated. It worked!! Thank you so much!! :hugs: :grinning:

Bookmarks file should be like this:

:+1: You’re welcome. It’s good to know it’s been solved.

I was looking for a folder instead of a file. Once I took off my blinders, I found it pretty quickly. :sweat_smile: Thank you again!
