Hard to read, oversized fonts on some sites

Hi there,

For the past few months, Brave has been rendering fonts poorly and everything I’ve done to try to fix it has failed.

It doesn’t happen on all sites (this site is fine), but bold fonts on certain sites look awful. For example on this page, the lower-case e’s are just circles.

I’ve tried the following:

  1. Setup Cleartype
  2. Install Advance Font Rendering add-on
  3. Disable Hardware Rendering
