Google Calendar Moving Last Created Event instead of creating new event

After creating a new event, clicking on a new date to create another new event moves the last event rather than opening the new event dialogue box. Refreshing allows a new event to be created.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Create new event.
  2. Click on another date to create another new event. Last event moves to new date.
  3. Refreshing browser page allows a new event to be created.

Expected result:
After creating an event and closing create dialogue, clicking on a new date opens create event box.
