The #Global Media Controls Flag is still not be added back into brave and it it has been missing Since early September. Other Browsers have this flag but Brave does not for some reason. This topic has not gotten much discussion and any fix to this problem would be greatly appreciated

There are a few similar posts on the forum. I wonder why the developers have been silent about it and not responded nor provided any explanation.
I really can’t imagine why would you get rid of this flag, but it’s extremely annoying not being able to hide the Media Controls button from the toolbar.

Thank you for replying to my post. Do you know of any solutions like extensions or other fixes from something like Gethub.io? Or will we have to keep on pestering brave and waiting for a fix?

Frankly, I can’t be bothered to look for a solution and I doubt there is one for this particular issue. Personally will just live with it and check the forum from time to time. Still curious ‘WHY?’ though.
The developers definitely don’t get any praise for just ignoring the topic.
