Getting barely any BAT since I got new laptop. Need Help

Briefly describe your issue: Ever since I got a new laptop I get less than 1 BAT every month. On my old laptop I can get more than 12 BAT per month. I cannot figure out why.?

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)? NOT SURE, I have new windows laptop

Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no) YES

What date did you verify your wallet? Not sure

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past? YES on old laptop

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no) NO

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)? USA

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??

Is your region set correctly?
Are notifications enabled in Windows settings and Brave?
Is focus assist disabled in Windows?
Do you use VPN?

Thanks for the reply. My windows settings for notifications were off. That could be it. Just turned them on. I do not use VPN. Focus assist is ON which says I will get all notifications from apps and contacts.

I do not know how to check for notifications in Brave? But as I am typing this I just got an ad pop-up notification, which is a good sign.

What do you think?

  1. Check on sites can ask to send notification here brave://settings/content/notifications

  2. Better put focus assist to OFF because it controls the time you do and dont get notifications. By default you dont get notification between 8 evening and 6 morning but you can change that time as it suits you. When OFF you get notifications at any time.
