Getting ads on brave browser

Description of the issue:
Starting 06/29/2022 I have been getting ads when trying to watch videos on YouTube, one that I’d actually have to wait a certain amount of time until I can skip. I don’t think the browser’s ad-block function is working.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)
No

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
No

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
No, still have it as the standard setting

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Not using Chrome
**Brave version (check About Brave): version 1.40.109, up-to-datet

Thank you for reaching out. I’m curious if you do change the Shields setting to Aggressive for Youtube.com, whether or not you still see the ads?

Thank you that worked! Which makes me question, until this morning, I didn’t have that set as Aggressive and it was doing fine.

Not entirely sure what changed but YT (and Google in general) is often quite tricky at making subtle changes to sneak ads through. I’m ccing a coworker @fanboynz to take a look at this as well.
