Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Version 1.58.129 Chromium: 117.0.5938.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Linux Mint 21.2

Extensions have been installed previously without issue.

Does this happen on all extensions or just this one? I’m asking because blocking cookie banners is built-in functionality with Brave, much like uBlock origin. It doesn’t make sense to install such addons in Brave and they will most likely interfere with built-in protection features.

It’s happened on all the extensions I’ve tried to install today. I’ve tried installing some pretty neutral extensions just to test and the same thing happens.

Looks like the latest Brave update fixed this.
