Can't install any extension from chrome web store

Description of the issue:
Can’t install any extension from chrome web store, when browsing the extension store and click the blue button Add to Chrome the button text changes to checking… and it keeps on this state about 3 to 4 minutes then it starts to download the crx file and keeps on this state also about 3 to 5 minutes then error popup appear says An error occurred and Download interrupted.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

1. Open the chrome web store.
2. Search for your extension (i was trying to install vuejs devtools but the issue with any extension).
3. Click Add to Chrome button, then the issue will appear.

Expected result:
The expected result is to install the extension successfully which never happened in my case.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

The operating system is Deepin Linux (Linux distribution based on Debian Linux).
The brave version is Version 0.62.50 Chromium: 73.0.3683.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)

That is strange that its not allowing any extension to install. Could you try creating a new user profile from the people button (next to the hamburger menu) . Add a new person and check if its allowing to install extension in that?

I probably know what the answer is for this but are you able to install the same extensions on Chrome?

I tried your suggestion by trying in a new profile but i didn’t work.
Yes i can install extensions in chrome and chromium browsers.

So there is no solution for this issue !!
