The easiest way to do this at this time is to simply make a safe copy of your User Data directory and replace the newly created one (after re-installing the browser) with your saved data. To do this:

  1. Make sure your current browser is fully updated (v1.24.82 is latest at the time of writing this).
  2. On you PC, go to C:\\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser
  3. Here, you will see your User data directory – make a safe copy of this on an external or somewhere easy to retrieve.
  4. Once this data is backed up, go ahead and reinstall Windows. When it finishes, download and install Brave again.
  5. Visit the same directory in Windows as in step 2 above. Then, replace the User data folder here with your backup copy.

All your info should now appear without issue. Note that some Brave Rewards data will be lost, such as estimated pending Rewards and number of ads viewed for the month. Also note that you will need to re-verify your wallet w/Uphold in the new installation if you had a verified wallet in the previous installation.
