Description of the issue:
The browser freezes when browsing with a Youtube tab open. Audio will keep playing, but tabs become unresponsive.
I didn’t notice any unusual spikes in Task Manager and, weirdest of all, the freeze goes away instantly if you go to logon via CTRL+ALT+DEL.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Play Youtube video.
- Browse something slightly memory-extensive like X/Twitter.
- Browser will freeze.
- Use CTRL+ALT+DEL to go to logon page, instantly clearing the freeze.
Expected result:
I expect it should work normally. But it freezes.

EDITED TO ADD: Issue doesn’t occur with other browsers. I already tested RAM with Memtest86 (and switched them anyway last month with an upgrade). Tried disabling Hardware Acceleration: no dice. Tried Brave Nightly: no dice.
EDIT 2: Minimizing the offending window (Youtube) also seems to work.
