Fonts Displaying Incorrectly in Brave

Description of the issue: Fonts are displaying incorrectly on certain websites when using Brave vs. Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. For some reason, the font doesn’t seem to load, and defaults to an odd outlined font for certain displays on several websites, examples listed within.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no) Yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? No, issue is still present with shield off.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no): No, standard use of shields.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? Yes, fonts are displayed correctly across Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

First, can you try with “Hardware acceleration” disabled under Brave’s Preference/Settings?

I have disabled Hardware Acceleration, and the issue is still occurring.
