I have Brave new installed on my Laptop. And ervery second new tab that i open has
something like a ad for Brave talk I think, Is there a way to stop that?
@Nils11 what you’re seeing is the New Tab Page (NTP) ad known as Sponsored Images. They are enabled by default and can be turned off by going to Customize which is in the bottom right of the screenshot you shared. Then on the bottom of the Background Images section you’ll see a toggle for Sponsored Images. Just turn it off and they won’t appear anymore.
Do keep in mind that if you have opted into Brave Rewards, these ads that display are one of the ways you earn BAT. NTP ads can only appear once every 15 minutes and if it’s within that time period where you are eligible to see one, it will appear within 3 attempts of opening a new tab.
