Error: Brave Rewards profile is flagged - help!

When I try to connect my Uphold or Gemini wallet to brave, I always see this comunication:

Error: Brave Rewards profile is flagged
Unfortunately, your Brave Rewards profile has been flagged and you cannot complete verification with a manager. The report is sometimes due to erratic activity of the Brave Ads, although it could be a false positive.

If your Brave Rewards profile is flagged, you can’t verify it.

You don’t have to do anything. Your Brave Rewards profile will be automatically re-evaluated on a regular basis to determine when (and if) to unmark. Please try again from time to time to see if it has been removed.

Hi Alessio80,

I’m getting the same error messages of “unverified” and “profile flagged”.

This has been my issue for months now, with no solution available to link my brave rewards with a custodial wallet (which is verified).

I’ll keep you posted if I get any further information.

Same here for over a month now. Getting really frustrated with it. From what ive read, people with and without VPN are getting flagged. Im starting to wonder if certain countries are starting to crack down on them and they’re slowly getting rid of it. Look what’s already happening in the staking world of crypto, BlockFi and Celsius unfortunately.

Unless someone can prove me wrong with unflagging us all. Lol
