Does Brave for Android still supports PiP video playing?

Hi, sorry for my bad English, but I’m italian.
I want to ask if Brave for Android still supports PiP for videos or is just my device that doesn’t support it anymore.
Normally, if I come back to the home screen while a video from a website is playing,
the video automatically switches to PiP.
I want to know if is my device issue, or in the newest Brave version you have to activate it by yourself.

Device: Redmi Note 13 4G
Android version: 14
Brave version: 1.73.91
