On my Android, PIP does not work any longer when playing YouTube videos but does work when playing Rumble vids.
Brave 1.77.95, Chromium 135.0.7049.52
Known issue. I don’t feel like looking for the Github and all right now but if you take time to even search through existing topics here you’ll find where people have talked about it. Long story short, Google changed something and Brave is having issues. Know they were investigating and working on a fix

### Description
Several users have submitted reports who can no longer enter PI… P mode on their Android device for [m.youtube.com](http://m.youtube.com/) in Brave. We have been able to reproduce this on our end on versions v1.76.81 (stable) -- 1.78.58 (Nightly).
This is likely something removed in Chromium code/by Google.
### Steps to reproduce
1. Visit m.youtube.com in Brave
2. Play video
3. Attempt to enter PIP mode
### Actual result
Browser app minimizes, no PIP displayed.

PIP video should play as expected

The temporary Desktop View workaround described at your link does work. I hope they can fix the Mobile view soon. Should I delete this post? Thanks.

We’ve just released 1.79.118 which includes a fix for this https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/46128 .
