Dark Mode Still Messing with Google Docs

I have the dark mode feature found under brave://flags enabled on My browser. As a result, Google Docs used to turn all My documents from white pages with black text to black pages with white text, which I preferred. For some reason, I believe after a certain Brave update, this feature stopped working the way it was supposed to, and now My documents are always white pages with black text. Even if I try to switch the page and text colours, I can only get white pages with black text or white pages with white text.

Here’s an example from My D&D notes. You can see that the rest of the site is varying shades of black, but the pages are white with black text.

The problem is exactly the same when using Chrome.

Does it occur in Firefox? (non-Chromium). Whether its a Chromium or website issue is probably the main question here @bluey59223
