Cycling through open tabs with the mouse wheel doesn't work on MacOS

MacOS 12.3.1, Brave Version 1.37.109 Chromium: 100.0.4896.60 (Official Build) (arm64)

With the mouse pointer over the tab bar, scrolling with the mouse wheel should cycle through the open tabs left/right. This does not work on MacOS.

Is this a bug? It works as expected for me on the Linux version of Brave.
