I’ve tried cleaning the cache, uninstalling cookies and resetting the settings (basically following all the things the previous guides were talking about)
All my tabs are gone everytime I reopen my browser even though Ive already set the settings to ‘Continue Where You Left Off Option’.
I need help please
You either have data set to be cleared On exit (you can check this by going to Settings --> History --> Clear browsing data --> On exit) or there is potentially an extension that is causing this issue.
Can you also please confirm for me what version of the browser you’re using at this time?
Hello,
I do not have my data to be cleared out everytime I close (clicked X on the right corner of the tab). It seems like I have to right click on the X and click exit for the browser to not clear out my data.
This is a bit frustrating since i did not have to do that 2 days ago.
I am using Brave 1.73.97
Any chance, that you are using Brave Browser > Private Browsing Only mode (enabled in some setting)?
I have same problem. Win 11. Brave 1.73.97.
When I open Brave it says “Brave didn’t shut down correctly” and when I press Restore button nothing happen. Later I can open missing tabs from history but it is annoying. Didn’t happen before last update as I can remember.
p.s. edit: disregard this message please, problem was not in Brave but in extensions!
