Constant problems with brave browser on iphone 13 pro

Basically, there is a power to weight ratio problem for every Internet browser.

Learning how to tune the Internet browser, is an art that requires determination.

Because I require Brave Browser to perform well in the category of Privacy & Security, I tune the browser to do only that. For example, I do not use “Tabs” - I do not let them accumulate and remain. (I do not have to worry about saving them.)

I plan on the Internet browser crashing, to fail, to quit “for no apparent” or any reason. I routinely back up the Internet browsers’ data sets - every day - and I have been doing that for over 20 years.

I run light, without extensions and other gear (ie Rewards and other bells and whistles). (Except, I have 2 very light weight, simple extensions that I built for certain text editing when visiting a few websites.)

  • Allowing JavaScripts from specific sources, but NOT Allowing All JavaScripts
  • Trackers & Ads treatment: Aggressive (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
  • Fingerprinting (aka footprinting) blocking: Strict (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
