Closed tabs reappear on relaunching (Android 13)

Description of the issue:
I am experiencing an issue where I close a few tabs, clear brave from recent apps and reopen it and the tabs reappear.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a few tabs in brave
  2. Close brave
  3. Open brave, remove a few tabs
  4. Close brave, remove from background apps
  5. Open brave again

Expected result:
The closed tabs should be gone, but they are not.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.50.114, Chromium 112.0.5615.49

Mobile Device details
Pixel 6 Pro running Android 13

Additional Information:

I have a screen recording of the issue but the forum isn’t letting me upload. I can send the video somewhere else if needed.
