I’m fully aware that you can long press on the tabs icon and select the option to close all tabs. However, there really should be an option within the page where you’re already viewing all tabs to close them all. The reason is that most people will be looking at the tab page and realize they want to close them all. Having the option on the main browser page means that you have to go back before you can close them. This is really just suboptimal UI design and adds extra clicks. You should definitely keep the existing method, but also add a button within the page where you’re viewing tabs to close them all.
Not sure I understand what the difference between what you’re describing is and what the current behavior is.
Right now, if you’re on any tab on any site and decide that you want to close all tabs, long-pressing the “view tabs” box and then selecting Close all tabs
is a total of two taps without having to leave the tab you’re on:
