Description of the issue:
In Brave for Android, I’ve enabled “Clear data on exit.” Despite this, after exiting, when I relaunch Brave, it shows the tab that was active when I exited last. It also keeps all the tabs that were open when I exited last. It does, however, clear the URLs in History.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- In Brave, Settings > Brave Shields & Privacy
- Enable ‘Clear data on exit’.
- Open some URLs in separate tabs.
- Tap Exit in the main menu.
- Launch Brave.
Brave shows the tab that was active when last exited. All the tabs that were open when exited are also be available.
Expected result:
If ‘Clear data on exit’ is enabled, then all open tabs must be cleared upon exit. The next launch should show the home page set in Settings > Home Page.
