Description of the issue:
Hello. Sometimes, when I wrtie text in Brave browser, the behavior when I’m typing is a bit strange. It could be in a form on a homepage, or it happens also in the search bar as well.
The behavior is like this:
When I type some text, suddenly one or two characters, I just have typed are dissapearing and then coming back immediatly. This action takes only a few milliseconds time. I have tried to screenrecording this, but in the captured video, this behavior isn’t visible. I assume, that the screenrecording isn’t capturing with enough framerates. Therefore I describe the issue as best, as I can.
One example, where this behavior is observable is on the udemy homepage. There is a form, where questions can be submitted regarding to lessons.
On the other hand, this behavior isn’t observable in this Brave Community forum, where I just type this text.
I can’t repeat it currently, so I can’t say for sure. But I think, sometimes this issue exists also in the youtube search field. But it is currently not reproducable.
Also it isn’t always the case that this behavior is active. Sometimes, I type text in the search bar without any issues. Sometimes not.
Unfortunately, I have not yet found when this happens and when not. So it is a bit difficult to reproduce it exactly.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Open Brave Browser
- Type text in a form or in the search bar
- Observe the behavior
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Unfortunately I have not found an option to increase the framerate in screenrecording. Therefore the issue isn’t visible in the captured video.
Expected result:
No characters should dissapear?
Reproduces how often:
The behavior is irregular. It occurs from time to time, then again not.
