Can't 'verify wallet' for Brave (with Uphold) to transfer BAT

I can’t seem to get the ‘verify wallet’ process to work so that I can send my BAT to Uphold. I have previously (with my last phone) transferred my accumulated BAT to my then newly created Uphold account. But now on my newest phone, whenever I click ‘verify wallet’ ->,’ I’m sent to Uphold where I login to my account then I’m sent back to the verify wallet screen and nothing happens (it still has ‘verify wallet’ in upper left). Please help/advise.

You need to unlink an old device. You most likely are at your device limit.
