Can't Verify Brave Rewards with Brave on Linux

Description of the issue:
When trying to verify my Brave Rewards wallet, I get the message “An error has occured. Please contact the application provider.”
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Ensure all extensions are disabled
  2. Ensure signed-in on Uphold
  3. Ensure Brave Shield is disabled on Uphold (in-case of any false positives)
  4. Open Rewards Settings
  5. Click ‘Verify Wallet’
  6. Click ‘Authorize’ on Uphold page

    Expected result:
    Wallet should become verified with Uphold.
    Reproduces how often:
    Every time.
    Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
    Linux Mint 20.1
    Version 1.22.72 Chromium: 89.0.4389.128 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Fixed by signing out of Uphold, then signing back in and retrying verify.
