have understood that brave does not use email or anything to keep track or syncronize things have two question.
i cannot sincronize my pc with my cell phone i have generated qr with my phone but when i use the qr cam to sync things i get and error.
the seccond one if brave do not keep trace of things how do i save all my historial o keep trace of things like passwords if i do a format to my pc or cellphone? how how to get trace of that?

Here is how I would setup Sync to make things easy:
- First, I would recommend starting fresh to ensure there’s no confusion – so please delete any Sync chain you’ve created so far on both your phone and your PC.
- Now, on your PC, go to
Settings --> Syncand start a new sync chain - When it asks what kind of device you’d like to add to the chain, select phone/tablet
- You’ll see a QR code displayed on your PC – keep this QR code displayed.
- Now on your phone, go to Settings → Sync and select
I have a Sync code - Scan the QR code on your PC with your phone and the devices should sync without issue.

I have had a similar issue, it does work, it just might take a bit of time to sync and I really didnt know where to check for the tabs for another device. You can find the tabs from other devices under: Hamburger menu (3 dots) → recent tabs on Android and there you will see your other devices and the tabs that are open on them. For Windows or Linux you got to the Hamburger menu → history → your devices and then you will see the open tabs there. It just takes a few minutes to actually sync is what I found after entering the sync code (or scanning qr code)
